Every favor she needs costs a piece of her dignity. Every concession teaches the men around her what she'll tolerate next. She tells herself she's the one playing them.

Chapter 1: The Guest. Serith's arrival on the surface and her first steps into human power. What begins as a political mission becomes a test of pride, reputation, and control, as the court learns how to watch her, corner her, and use her dignity against her.
Chapter 2: Paid in Kind. Serith is sent north, away from the court's controlled manners and into colder, rougher ground. An old border post becomes her first real weapon, but the more useful she becomes, the more the men around her start demanding a price. The pressure turns physical: unwanted touch, humiliation, coercive leverage, and the first moments where her body becomes part of the bargain.
Chapter 3: The Claim. The dwarves answer, and their claim lands on Lord Avel's table. Serith gets to pick which lever moves him: the lord himself, the prisoner Brennar, or Master Halwen's rooms. Three routes, three different prices, and the game remembers which one you pulled. By the end of the chapter, what Lord Avel wants from her is not a matter of hints anymore. The most explicit content so far, voiced and animated.
Chapter 4: Safe Conduct. The morning after Chapter 3, the dwarves come to Lord Avel's hall, and Serith has to face them while they name her. The route you took in Chapter 3 changes whole scenes, and a new choice in the hall changes how the chapter ends. The longest chapter so far, and the darkest: harder violence, and explicit scenes that go further than anything in Chapter 3, animated from start to finish.
Interlude: Fair Copy. Mara, the clerk who brings Serith the fair copies at dusk in Chapter 4, tells her side of the Chapter 4 days in her own words. Serith is in it, but only the way Mara sees her. About 45 minutes, voiced, with an explicit scene of its own. You start it from the main menu, and it reads best after Chapter 4.

Ash and Velvet is a dark fantasy adult VN about pride, power, humiliation, corruption, and the cost of being useful to the wrong people.
This is not a light romance or a simple power fantasy. The sexual escalation is intended to grow darker, more explicit, and more tied to power, status, coercion, and erotic leverage as the story continues.
The game is fully voiced for all released dialogue scenes. Choices mainly shape tone, reputation, social pressure, memory, and power balance. Since Chapter 3, one big choice also splits the story into routes, and those carry forward. The Record in the status screen lists what your run went through.
Chapter 5 is currently in development. New chapters release first as early access for supporters, and every chapter still comes here: this thread always gets the full public build a few weeks later.

Gameplay:
You shape the main character’s personality by increasing the Honorable, Cunning, Sensitive or Manly stats with every choice you make.
While leveling up your personality stats, you can acquire different Kink Skills. Your lewd scenes will be different depending on the skills you have. For example, in some scenes you can chose to be dominant, submissive, or just get the more vanilla content.
All love interests in the game will subconsciously give you hints about their sexual kinks. If you can guess their kinks, and like them, you can have lewd scenes with the girl.
