1. Extract and open Kama Mod Studio.html in the root directory.
2. Create sets or unlimited (up to 999) cards, add depth map for holographic effects
3. Export .zip
4. Import .zip into Kama Card Collector.
Depth Maps:
I use ComfyUI with this node. It's free and fast.
Efficiency:
The Mod Studio is quite smart, you can import multiple numbered images and it sorts them. You can also use the list editor for the titles. I usually use a heretic llm and copy paste all titles and subtitles from one prompt.
Developer notes +
I am a designer first, not a coder. This is just a little passion project I was working on a couple weekends with claude opus. It took quite some effort to make it run smoothly with WebGL and PixiJS. However there is a performance mode available in the settings. It is mobile optimized for touch.
Release notes +
0.10.1
Fixed:
Tons of optimizations. Glow of buttons and splashes took way to many FPS away. Also closed boxes rendered all the cards inside for some reason.
Automatic Resolution Scaling as a emergency measure if the frame rate drops below 30.
Improved camera pan frame rate.
Improved frame rate on Firefox, Chromium and mobile. In some cases from 21 to 137 FPS.
0.10.0
The Automation Update
When series 1+2 is complete you get access to Automation. A whole new way to play the lategame.
Auto-Opener, Box Tipper, Auto-Grader, Dupe Finder, Filters, Spin Clean, Seller, Mergers, Collectors, Conveyor Belts, they all start semi-automatic and can be upgraded to complete automation. And while you’re at it, watch some videos or enjoy the Full Arts slideshow on your MP4 Player(s).
Card Flick: you get a message when you can challenge a new player. since 0.9.3 the battles are shorter, now they are also spread between the collecting and sorting gameplay. This should reduce the gameplay fatigue, and it no longer feels like a mandatory endgame mechanic.
Computer: Buy and sell cards on Crackslist, chat with the girls in MSN. Added a bit more role playing.
Community Mods: rather than to wall your mods, I decided to add a convenient link to the Community Mods Database in the main menu. We update the spreadsheet regularly.
Fixes
Economics tweaks. All ways (selling dupes, selling online, card flick) should be lucrative.
Mobile optimization and UI fixes
Writing rework. Less cringe.
Bugfixes, notorious Black Screen Binder Bug should be squashed, thank you all for the error-logs.
0.9.3
New
Buy booster packs and cards online.
Shortcuts and quality of life improvements. Open the binder, click a card and you can use the devices directly without putting the card in your hand first.
Mod Studio can now crop videos the same as images.
Fixes
Still can’t reproduce the black screen bug after series completion. Removed some visual effects as a hotfix.
Flicking game enemies tuned.
Removed penny sleeve mechanic until further notice.
0.9.0
New:
The ability to look up: What’s in front of the table? “The Wall”. After you collected your first Series 1+2 Set, you gain the ability to collect achievements. And a place to hang all your posters. And much more. The wall and bookshelf are part of the color theme of the modpack.
Check your rewards: Add the video cam to the bookshelf and watch the won rewards from the Card Flick minigame.
Grading: Every card now has a condition and a grade from 1 to 10. Fresh booster cards are mostly 9s and 10s, cards from old boxes are used. Throwing hard, folding and dirt cost grade. The new goal: a binder of measured Gem Mint 10s, each in its penny sleeve. Three new things help with that, one after the other once the booster packs arrive: the Card Scope that measures a card, penny sleeves you slide on by hand, and a computer to sell them.
Pixel: New sprites for the Tamagochi.
New Assets: UV Light and Dupe Finder get new sprites.
UI Tweaks: Small UX enhancements (hopefully) in the game and Mod Studio.
Fixes:
Shorter matches: Changed the enemies cards from 8 to 4. Let’s see how it feels. Let me know.
Saving:Some of you lost your progress. I could not find one single cause, but I found ways it could happen, and closed them.
Two tabs, one collection: a tab left open in the background used to write its older collection over the newer one from another tab or window, every few seconds and every time it was hidden. Now only the tab played last saves. The other one stops and asks you to reload. A tab still on the title screen loads the newest progress before it starts.
Earlier saves: the game now keeps copies by itself: at every start, every 10 minutes of play, and before a reset, a load or a restore. It keeps the last 30, and one a day for two weeks before them. Menu > Save / load progress... > Earlier saves lists them and brings one back. The collection it replaces stays in the list, so a restore can be undone too.
A reset can be undone the same way: the collection you reset is in Earlier saves.
A save that only partly loads is kept whole in Earlier saves before anything else happens.
The pack format stays the same. Saves from before load as they are.
The card stuck at the hand: dragging a card from the hand into the binder could leave it hanging at the hand, and then nothing reacted except turning pages; the binder did not even close. That happened when the browser lost track of the finger that was lifted. Now any other finger takes the card over: tap its sleeve and it goes in, tap next to the binder pages and it goes back into the hand and the binder closes.
Mostly invisible: the styles were cleaned up and every color, font and effect now comes from one set of design tokens, shared by the table, the school and the dialogs. A few small things changed on purpose.
Fixed: the jack could be swapped for a card from your stash, which ruined the throw. A card dragged in now waits in your hand until the jack is thrown.
Tutorial tweaks for first time players: You DO know that you can pick up multiple cards at once RIGHT?

0.8.0
What's new:
A shelf for your collections
The title screen is new. Every collection stands on a shelf as a binder spine, in its own color, with its logo and how full it is. Point at one to see four of its cards, your progress per set and when you last played it. A collection you have never opened shows no spoilers.
More cards: Series 3 and 4
Full Arts are now Series 3 and 4 (numbers 19 to 36). Mod packs can give every Full Art and every Ultra Rare its own picture and name, so one set holds up to 54 cards. Ultra Rares can get a finish (rainbow, diamond, swirl, ...). Full Arts can be animated. There are now around 200 animations in the game.
Economy: less grind
More Series 3-4 cards from booster packs.
Dupes sell for more.
Sets fill one after the other: half of the new cards come from the set closest to complete. You finish your first set sooner, and Card Flick opens sooner with it.
The progression is like this:
Complete 3 series 1 sets and you get access to series 2 cards.
As soon as you mark your first duplicate card OR have less than 25% card remaining on the table you get access to the flea market, with booster packs.
After your first Full Art pull, you can buy the Motion-Cam gadget to animate full art cards.
When you complete your first series 1-2 set, you get access to the card flick minigame and basically start finishing your collection. There is no final reward for completing all sets.
Video cards: the Motion-Cam 2000
If a pack comes with videos, the shop sells the Motion-Cam. Lay a Full Art in its tray: the camera records for a few seconds and gives the card back as a video card.
Binder organization
The tabs stick now to the page as they would in real life. Series 3-4 are page later. If series 1-2 is full, it automatically flips to 3-4 for convenience. It's not perfect, but I hated the many tabs.
Card Flick
Slight rework of the flick mechanic. You could cheese it by not flicking.
The curve does what the preview shows: flicking harder no longer tightens a bending Dart.
Both cards in the shoebox? The one nearer the middle wins. No more endless dead heats.
Opponents adapt: when you are in top form, the regulars sharpen up too, but not endlessly. Rubber band effect toned down.
There are now video rewards after beating an opponent.
Mod Studio
The card grid shows every card of a set, Series 1 to 4 plus the Ultra Rares. Full Arts and Ultra Rares without a picture of their own are marked “auto”.
Full Arts can get a video, and Ultra Rares can get a finish.
Opponents and the Coach now sit in the left column instead of a pop-up.
Each opponent can have up to 12 win pictures or videos.
Studio packs show their real pictures again instead of “Picture coming soon”. No need to export again.
Smoother and steadier
Firefox: the table no longer redraws everything every frame. Resting and dragging are smooth again, and Card Flick no longer stutters.
Black screen after a full set (the browser restarting its graphics): the game saves, reloads by itself and puts you back where you were.
Fixes:
Broken or huge mod packs are turned away instead of crashing the tab.
Old saves that no longer fit don’t block loading.
A second finger on touch no longer makes cards jump.
The game tells you when it cannot save.
The dupe box no longer gets scooped up when you drag past it.
0.7.1
New: Gameplay change for school
New throwing mechanic. It’s now more reaction based, rather than precision based.
New AI for the enemies. Should be more fair and beatable, yet challenging.
New play rules for card flicking.
New tutorial for card flicking.
New sfx in school
New Mod Studio Features & Unlimited packs:
Rarities and finishes: every card can be Common, Uncommon, Rare, Very rare or Secret, and shine in silver, gold, rainbow, sand glitter, diamond, swirl, a foil colour of your choice, or as a reverse holo. Rare cards come later and less often, sell for more and close the booster.
Binder tabs for every set, and for the Ultra Rare sets once they arrive.
Lots of bugfixes
0.6.8
More cards, more late gameplay, completely new mechanics: a card throwing game with brats to beat.
New: Card Flicks
The school opens once your first set is complete (Series 1 and 2 of one set). A SCHOOL button appears next to the shop.
The hallway shows the Coach and five regulars, each with their own game. Beat one and the next one opens.
Double or nothing: You throw a card, then the enemy. Closest to the goals wins both cars. Dare to double or nothing.
New: Full Arts
Every Series 1 and Series 2 card has a Full Art version: the picture over the whole card, a silver frame.
Each set has a new double page for them in the binder, right before the Ultra Rares (tab ART). A full page earns a silver stamp, a full set a silver set bonus.
For now the Full Arts are the same images as Series 1-2.
Collecting
Series 2 comes slower. The big Series 2 box holds fewer Series 2 cards and more Series 1 dupes, so you finish Series 1 first. The missing Series 2 cards come with the flea market boxes.
With more than 300 cards on the table, a note tells you that smooth play is no longer guaranteed.
Mod Studio
Opponents and coach... (on the left, under the sets): give the five regulars your own names and pictures (all cards, half left, last card; seven moods each), and the Coach a row of moods
0.5.2
Fixes
Black table after completing a set (Firefox). Several of you reported that after filling a set, the table turned black and stayed black, even after closing the reward. The most likely cause: the browser briefly takes the graphics away from the game, and when they came back, the game did not redraw the cards and the table properly. The game now rebuilds its graphics completely when this happens. If it happens a second time in the same session, the game switches to a simpler drawing mode that keeps working.
If this still happens to you, please send me the text from Menu > Copy error report. It now also records when the graphics were rebuilt.
0.5.1
New
Volume sliders. In the menu (the phone, MENU tab) you can now set the volume of the music and of the sound effects separately. The game remembers both.
Save your progress outside the browser. Menu > Save / load progress... lets you save your collection as a file and load it again, for example on another computer. You can also copy a progress code and paste it on another device. A save always belongs to its card pack.
Error report. If something does go wrong, the menu shows Copy error report.
Fixes
The reward screen that comes up after a full set is now much lighter on memory, especially on phones.
Animated posters in the poster pocket only play while you point at them. (you can create animated posters for series 1+2 rewards in the Mod Studio)
An unexpected error no longer freezes the table. The game keeps running.
0.5.0
New
New Shader: Ultra Rares now glitter instead of rainbow
Fixes
Dropzone text was hidden behind hand
Spin Cleaner: cleaned cards can now be drag-pulled (right mouse)
